Project Phobos Yahoo! GeoCoder Service Demo
The Project Phobos Yahoo! GeoCoder Service Demo Using XmlHttpProxy uses the Yahoo! GeoCoder service that takes an address and returns its latitude and longitude. To use, enter an address, such as "San Jose, CA" or "austin, tx" etc etc., then click on "Get Coordinates".
This application uses an XMLHttpProxy client to access the Yahoo! Geocoder service. For more information about the XMLHttpProxy provided by jMaki, please refer to Greg Murray's article Accessing External Resources With the XMLHttpProxy Client.
